3 Medium Bananas (approx. 2 cups| 670 ml diced)…

2 1/2 (670ml) ups of water

One cup (235 ml) Diced yellow onion.

One fourth cups of apple cider vinegar

1/4-1/3 cups (85ml) of palm sugar, or packed brown sugar.

2 teaspoons (10ml) of turmeric

Five or six slices of fresh Ginger root which I leave in tact to be removed later

One rounded tablespoon (15ml) of minced garlic.

One whole cinnamon stick

Three whole cloves

1/3 of a whole seed of nutmeg, grated

NOTE: If you are using the ground version of these spice:
1 teaspoon (5ml) Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground Clove
1/2 teaspoon of Nutmeg

2 tablespoons (15ml) of Rum (optional)

1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper more or less if you prefer. (optional)

1/2 teaspoon of course Sea Salt
